NavPath Academy is led by Capt. Robin C George, Master Mariner. Subject faculty teach every class; our Marine Team, headed by Master Mariners, runs the sea-career mentoring, interviews and company preparation. Girls and boys learn IMU CET, spoken English and the realities of shipboard life. The exam is the first milestone. We prepare students for the ship.

View LinkedIn ProfileCapt. Robin C George founded NavPath Academy to close the gap between entrance coaching and the ships students hope to join. He is a Master Mariner (AFNI) whose career spans more than three decades across deep-sea trades.
His command record includes Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs) and LPG tankers for major owners. Ongoing work with a Singapore-based gas tanker operator keeps him current on how fleets hire and evaluate junior officers today.
Ashore he has served as fleet Operations Manager and Head of Human Resources for a tanker operator, and as Designated Person Ashore (DPA) and Company Security Officer (CSO) — roles that shape how he talks to parents about responsibility, not only ranks.
Technical work has included supervising new-building and delivery projects in leading Chinese, South Korean, Japanese and European yards, and directing dry-docking with specialised cryogenic system repairs when gas ships needed them.
We started NavPath because entrance marks alone do not make an officer. Students deserve mentors who still speak the language of ships — emotional intelligence, technology, and compliance cultures such as SIRE 2.0 included. We coach IMU CET and sponsorship interviews to current standards. We mentor people who want to earn their place on the bridge or in the engine room.

Officers who built a classroom for the next bridge team
NavPath Academy is a captain-led Merchant Navy coaching institute for students across India. It is run like a professional academy, with discipline, regular tests and mentors who know every student by name.
Capt. Robin C George — Master Mariner, AFNI — founded and leads the academy after more than thirty years in global shipping. His co-founders are senior deck officers.
We prepare students for the Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test, for shipping company sponsorship interviews, and for the professional habits that matter at sea. Every student gets personal guidance.
Students join a nationwide live online batch for IMU CET May 2027, or the campus batch in Kottayam, Kerala.

Who teaches at NavPath?
Three teams. Subject experts teach Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English and aptitude for IMU CET. Qualified professionals run Spoken English, grooming and civic sense. The Marine Team, headed by Master Mariners and led by Capt. Robin C. George, Master Mariner, runs the sea-career mentoring, interviews and company preparation. The medium is English, and state-board students get separate Spoken English classes with special focus.
Where is the campus if we want to visit?
The campus is on TB Road, Erayilkadavu, Kottayam, Kerala. Students across India join live online, and you are welcome to visit the campus.
