The IMU CET Crash Course, which families also call crash coaching, runs every year after the board exams — March to the IMU CET May 2027 exam, at the Kottayam campus and live online, with support continuing to July 2027 for company sponsorship examinations, interviews and the college batches that begin in August.

Actively sailing captains and officers take the core sessions, with subject faculty for Plus Two Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. A student asking what a second mate's day is like gets the answer from someone who has had one.
Live classes on a published weekly schedule from March, with recordings, so a student who loses a day to a board exam or a fever does not lose the chapter.
Doubt sessions are part of the schedule rather than something you have to chase. In a ten-week run there is no room to carry a misunderstanding for a fortnight.
IMU-pattern tests through the sprint, each followed by a review. The list of weak chapters is the output — a score on its own teaches nobody anything.
The crash coaching runs at the Kottayam campus and live online. Students outside Kerala are in the same live class, not watching a different one.
Company written tests and selection interviews do not wait for the IMU CET result. Preparation for them runs in parallel, not afterwards.

Crash coaching works on one condition: your Plus Two Physics, Chemistry and Maths are broadly in place and what you need is exam speed, pattern familiarity and someone keeping you honest for ten weeks. Under those conditions it works well.
It does not work as a rescue. If the basics are not there, ten weeks will not build them, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling. A student in that position should be in the year-long hybrid batch, or in the repeaters batch if this is a second attempt. Your counsellor will say so plainly, even though the crash course is the cheaper sale.
The rhythm is deliberately hard. Classes, a timed paper, review of the paper, the chapters that paper exposed, then the next one. Students find the first fortnight heavy and then settle. Parents should expect a tired student, not an unhappy one — if it is the second, tell us.
Support does not stop at the exam. Students who clear are carried through to July for company sponsorship examinations, interviews and entry to the college batches that begin in August.
